Integrated Communications.: Integrated communication systems are highly application-specific. Most often used in educational facilities, the systems must offer two-way, hands-free communication via classroom speakers. More specifically, they serve to annunciate emergency calls from classrooms, provide paging for announcements and emergency signaling, timekeeping for class change, interface with the telephone system, and afford a highly programmable platform to coordinate room designations and time/program/page zoning, in addition to providing a connection to the internet for remote programming and diagnostics.
Professional Audio.: The pro-audio division of APT was created to service the audio and video applications of today's educational and spiritual venues, including performing arts centers, worship centers, auditoriums, competition gymnasiums, and stadiums. Because of the varied structural challenges existing in many of these older and/or complicated venues, great care is given to the acoustic treatment of the facility and the implementation of sophisticated sound reinforcement and audio/video (A/V) production systems. These A/V rich environments become more sophisticated each year as the students, parents, parishioners and staff experience high-end media in their own home and entertainment experiences, thereby raising expectations for the quality of the systems supporting their own performances.
Time System and Clocks.: In addition to keeping the time for signaling, Telecor provides a wide variety of analog and digital secondary clocks, as well as a time control system to keep the displays synchronized.
Television Distribution.: Educational institutions typically require television distribution systems which allow commercial or educational channels to be fed into the classrooms, in addition to VHS and DVD program materials. The media retrieval function of the Telecor System interfaces with the video distribution center and telephone system, enabling teachers to control individual program sources from their classroom, and then select them on their classroom television.
Data Cabling and Telecommunications.: One of APT's largest strengths is the ability to provide turn-key solutions for clients. Although the Telecor franchise and our pro-audio experience constitute the core business, we are also skilled at providing network infrastructures and telephony.
Design.: APT Communications' experience in the numerous communications industries enables us to engineer systems that meet the quality requirements of our clients, while staying within a reasonable pre-approved budget. Understanding the nature of the education, house of worship and healthcare markets enables APT to provide the highest quality systems that the environment and budget support. Also, because it is not uncommon for consultants to over-design systems that are subsequently beyond a client's budget and requirements, APT is often asked to "value engineer" these systems, re-designing them to meet the venue's actual needs.

An added value is the system's ability to enable a facility to purchase telephone service at a bulk rate and resell to occupants at retail.
